Role Overview
As Vice President for the Asia-Pacific region, you will be heading our efforts to unlock the vast market potential within this dynamic area. Your role will be as a crucial member of our Executive Leadership Team and involves direct commercial responsibilities over key markets including South Korea and broader Asia-Pacific regions. Reporting directly to the company’s CEO, you will drive not just business growth, but a cultural shift towards enhanced professionalization and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement advanced sales funnel management and business development strategies to optimize revenue growth across diverse markets.
- Spearhead market segmentation, targeting, and prioritization to effectively focus our efforts and resources.
- Develop and execute new market expansion strategies, commercialization and enhancing our footprint in growth and core markets.
- Transform sales management processes aligning them with our ambitious market and product strategies, especially focusing on key countries like China, Korea, Japan, and Vietnam.
- Foster a culture of commercial excellence, setting high standards for customer service and organizational motivation.
You
- Proven ability to manage and influence stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Extensive experience in managing international commercial operations with a clear vision.
- Strong analytical skills to manage strategic commercial plans and operational budgets effectively.
- Educational background in maritime engineering disciplines, naval architects, shipbuilding or similar preferable combined with a business degree
- Minimum 10 years’ experience from the maritime business or related industries
- Fluently speaking and writing English
- Fluently speaking Korean
