We are a team of 19 dedicated professionals, operating in a fast-paced environment and are looking for the perfect candidate to join our family business. The Supply Chain Coordinator is an integral and important position within the business, working closely with each department, our suppliers and customers.

You can handle mostly routine tasks and be extremely thorough within your work. You have previous experience with the main tasks or even better from Supply Chain Management (purchasing, transport, document control), but most importantly you are openminded, flexible, logical & curious.

You work closely with our experienced Supply Chain Manager who supports you in all aspects of the role ensuring you have the necessary training required to succeed, positioning you for future development and progression within the company.

What we are looking for:

  • Fluent in English and Norwegian language (verbal and written)
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Visma Net with a very good understanding of Excel
  • Previous experience from a similar position is preferred
  • Very strong analytical skills
  • Able to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative way
  • Independent and reliable with a high level of accuracy
  • The ability to come up with process improvements related to supply chain processes
  • Be able to handle a high work pressure and multiple tasks at once and able to prioritize between tasks
  • Logical and solution minded

Main Tasks

  • Coordinate end to end purchases according to company processes
  • Work closely with our forecasts to secure deliveries on time and according to plan
  • Control of documentation (invoices, packing lists, CMRs, imports, traces and ipaffs)
  • Drive cost efficiency within our supply chains
  • Routinely gather, compare & log transport quotes
  • Professional communication with our suppliers, service providers and warehouses
  • Assist with the onboarding of new suppliers and new delivery points
  • Build relationships with our suppliers to secure seamless and clear communication
  • Assist Supply Chain Manager with yearly inventory checks for all markets
  • Work closely with our order team to resolve disputes and discrepancies
  • Keep yourself updated on relevant laws and rules for importing and exporting.
  • Handle main tasks under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex tasks to appropriate colleagues and line manager
  • Other duties as assigned
