Job description:

The Supply Chain Manager is an integral and important position within the business, working closely with each department, our suppliers and customers.

You have previous experience within supply chain management (purchasing, transport, stock control and forecasting), but most importantly you are openminded, flexible, logical and curious.

You work closely with our experienced Head of Supply, who supports you in all aspects of the role ensuring you have the necessary training required to succeed, positioning you for future development and progression within the company.

What we are looking for:

  • Professional, clear and structured communication skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Norwegian
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Visma Net and very good understanding of Excel
  • Previous experience from a similar position is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills

Main Tasks

  • Plan and secure forecasts closely in conjunction with sales teams and Head of Supply
  • Secure adequate stock levels at all times in-line with business KPI´s
  • Manage end to end purchases according to company processes
  • Control of documentation (invoices, packing lists, CMRs, imports, traces and ipaffs)
  • Maintain and communicate knowledge of laws and procedures for importing across our different markets
  • Drive efficiency within our supply chains
  • Work diligently to reduce costs
  • Routinely gather, compare and log transport quotes
  • Negotiations with warehouses and transport providers to secure the very best prices on the market
  • Professional communication with our factories, suppliers and service providers
  • Assist with the onboarding of new suppliers and new delivery points
  • Build relationships with our suppliers and service providersto secure seamless and clear communication
  • Ensure and maintain all service providers are certified
  • Assist Head of Supply with yearly inventory checks for all markets
  • Work closely with our order team to resolve disputes and discrepancies
